Life is a dance – an expression of self in the most personal of ways and finding the tools to connect oneself to others is essential. The Girl cards can be a bridge, in creating an expressive language through art that is not defined by borders, restrictions or even words, but to embody all things fluid with colour, light, movement and expression. The 38 Girl cards are inspired by my love of colours, movement, Japanese calligraphy and traditional African dance. Throughout this deck, I have provided a foundation from which you can build, expand, express and share.

Whether you are using the cards to open conversations with your kids, partner, friends, students, teams, co-workers, coaching, or even with yourself the possibilities are endless! You can use the cards to start a conversation with your children about emotions and sensations in their bodies when they feel their feelings. These conversations can be magical in opening up dialogue to share a common language that you can both understand to invite future conversations on the sensations that they are feeling.

As a teacher, you can use the cards to facilitate conversations on mental health, bullies, or facilitate emotion-based curriculums. Teams can use these cards to invite conversations about goal-setting for their team or team-building exercises. The list goes on and on!
